Research at the Orange County Historical Museum
Currently the Orange County Historical Museum has limited access for researchers. If you are interested in doing geneaological or historical research at the museum, first please look at our online finding aids and file lists to determine if we might have the information you are looking for.
If you find that the museum has the information or resources you need, please call (919) 732-2201 or send an email to make a research appointment. Research is allowed BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Researchers should call at least 1 week in advance of their planned visit to make an appointment. For more information on doing research, please look at the Collections Access Policy.
If you plan to photograph anything in the collection, please fill out the Camera Use Form and bring it with you.
